Is This the Cheapest Pint on Earth? Tourist Thinks So After Benidorm Bar Visit

British TikToker Sparks Pint Frenzy in Benidorm with 'World’s Cheapest Beer' Claim
A British expat living in Benidorm believes he may have stumbled upon the world’s cheapest pint — and it's got tourists queueing around the block.
Louis Grier, a 32-year-old social media creator with more than 42,000 followers on TikTok, shared a viral video after ordering a pint of Estrella Damm for just 50 cents (around 43p) at a local bar, 4 JKS, in the heart of the popular Costa Blanca town.
No stranger to budget-friendly beer, Louis had previously found a pint under €1 at a nearby venue, Uncle Ron's, but his latest find may have set a new low — in price, not quality.
“People are coming from everywhere to meet up and try it with me,” Louis said. “They're calling it the Fanatic Pint. It's the cheapest in Spain — maybe even the world.”
More Than Just a Cheap Drink
The cut-price pint isn't a random fluke. Louis teamed up with 4 JKS owners Brett and Andrea to offer the budget beer as part of a weekly special — available four days a week. Despite the cost, the trio insists it's "not a cheap beer" in quality, calling it a proper Estrella with a side of community spirit.
“It's not just about the pint,” Louis added. “It’s about the people, the laughter, and keeping Benidorm fun and affordable. This is my second home... actually, scratch that — this is my real home.”
Local Legend Status
In his TikTok video, Louis walks viewers through the experience, even hopping behind the bar to serve a pint himself. The buzz has quickly spread, with tourists reportedly lining up just for the chance to grab a drink and soak in the lively atmosphere.
The bar's owners aren’t surprised. “We’re not chasing five-star reviews,” Brett said. “We’re here for good times, decent prices, and a little bit of madness. That’s what Benidorm is all about.”
