Benidorm's Traditional Food and Craft Market Returns This Friday

Tourists and residents will have the chance to discover traditional Valencian food, products and crafts when one of Benidorm's popular annual markets returns this Friday.
The Fira de Productes Típics de la Terra will take place at Parque de Elche on Friday, October 9, bringing a selection of traditional products and local crafts into the heart of the resort.
Visitors will be able to browse stalls selling typical products from the Valencian region, while a food and drink area will also be available during the event.
The organisers say the market will offer visitors the chance to enjoy local produce while supporting the committee responsible for organising Benidorm's November fiestas.
Money raised during the event will help towards the costs of the annual celebrations.
The market is particularly well placed for tourists, taking place at Parque de Elche, close to the Old Town and Poniente Beach.
It provides visitors with an opportunity to experience something a little different from Benidorm's usual beach, bar and nightlife scene.
For holidaymakers looking to take home something typically Spanish or Valencian, the market could also provide an alternative to the resort's usual souvenir shops.
The event is expected to attract both local residents and tourists throughout the day.
With Benidorm continuing to enjoy strong visitor numbers into October, organisers will be hoping for another successful edition of the traditional market.
