Benidorm in for Wet and damp Friday as Rain and Stormy Conditions Reach Valencia Region

Tourists in Benidorm are to expect a much wetter and cloudier Friday as unsettled weather moves across the Valencia region.
The latest forecast from Spain's national weather agency, AEMET, shows very cloudy skies in Benidorm on Friday, with rain and showers expected particularly during the afternoon and evening.
Temperatures are expected to reach around 27°C, meaning it will remain warm despite the unsettled conditions.
The forecast for Levante Beach shows very cloudy conditions during the morning before rain or showers become more likely during the afternoon.
AEMET is also forecasting moderate winds along the Benidorm coastline, while sea conditions are currently expected to remain relatively slight.
The change in weather comes as the wider Valencian Community remains under a period of heightened weather attention, with parts of the region experiencing heavy rainfall and thunderstorms.
The most severe rainfall has so far been recorded elsewhere in the region, rather than in Benidorm itself.
However, weather conditions are expected to remain unsettled, and visitors planning beach trips or boat excursions are being advised to keep an eye on the latest local forecast.
The weather is expected to remain cloudy into the weekend, although current forecasts suggest conditions should remain warm, with temperatures around the mid-to-high 20s.
For anyone staying in Benidorm, Friday could therefore be a good day to swap the beach for some of the resort's many indoor attractions, shops, restaurants and bars.
AEMET's forecast for Levante Beach currently puts the maximum temperature at around 27°C, with the Mediterranean water still around 25°C.
So while Friday may not be the classic blue-sky Benidorm day, the latest forecast does not suggest the resort is facing the same level of rainfall seen in some other parts of the Valencia region.
Visitors are advised to check the latest AEMET forecast before heading out, particularly if they have plans involving the sea or outdoor activities.
