Final phase of the project will bring further improvements to one of the city's busiest beachfront areas

A major project to renew the lighting infrastructure along Benidorm's Levante promenade is moving forward, with the town hall approving the next stage of the work.

The latest phase represents an investment of approximately €2.4 million and will complete the planned renewal of the promenade's lighting catenary system.

The project is designed to modernise infrastructure along one of Benidorm's busiest and most recognisable stretches of seafront.

Previous phases of the renewal have already been completed, with the latest project intended to finish the remaining sections.

The lighting system forms part of the infrastructure used along the Levante beachfront and the work is expected to provide a more modern and reliable installation.

Investment in one of Benidorm's busiest areas

The Levante promenade is used every day by residents, tourists, businesses and visitors, particularly during the busy summer season.

The latest investment follows earlier phases of work carried out by the local authority and represents another significant financial commitment to the city's public spaces.

Benidorm Town Hall says the project will complete the renewal of the existing lighting catenary along Levante.

The approval of the project means the administrative process can now move forward towards the execution of the final works.

Further details on the timetable for the work are expected as the process progresses.
